Message from Alain Staub - Chairman of the Board and CEO

20 years Ewopharma Romania
It gives me great pleasure to address you on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Ewopharma in Romania. What originally started as a small operation with 3 people is now, in Ewopharma terms, a sizeable operation, employing some 40 persons and generating sales of clearly more than EUR 18 Mio.
This remarkable achievement has made Ewopharma Romania one of the prominent success stories in the Ewopharma Group's Central European operations. We largely owe this success to the competence and the devotion of our local colleagues under the leadership of Carmina Smith Rogojinaru, who are engaged every day in the achievement of our ambitious goals.
But we owe this success also to all our external partners: The increasing number of partners who entrust their products to Ewopharma for registering and marketing them in Romania, and those partners who closely collaborate with us in marketing and distribution of the products throughout Romania. Our thanks go to all of them.
Times, however, have not always been easy in Romania and there will be uneasy waters also in the future - budgets constraints, price pressure and financial markets turmoil, to name just a few. But the ship of Ewopharma Romania has successfully manoeuvred in the past, and we are very confident that it will manage also in the future to pass the cliffs and master waves on its journey.
I very much thank all colleagues for the excellent collaboration and for their commitment to our success, and I look forward to commonly shaping the future of Ewopharma in Romania.
